I have the same problems that were presented in a thread a while ago. My e 310 remains on when in cradle, even with the power settings set to "turn off when on external power after..." .
Can you guys help me please?
Thanks, I appreciate it!:(

Same for me, it stays on even if I set activsycn to manual synchronize. I think it's related to activesync. If you unplug the usb cable from the computer, the e310 will power down on schedule. If you shut down activesync (you have to do it from inside the close program box after ctrl-alt-del) then the e310 will power down properly (even with usb connected).

Ahhh! What you have to do is to go into Activesync and go to File>Connection Settings and uncheck the USB box. Then the e310 will power down in the cradle. Of course, you won't be able to connect to the e310 until you recheck the box, but you don't have to reboot or anything.

frustrating indeed... I just switched from palm os, and I am trying to overcome all these little glitches in the system.
I keep hoping for a better tomorrow though
Thanks!
