How can I get a picture (gif, jpg, etc) from my PC to display on the today screen background? Using an IPAQ 3870 & 3970.
I figure I have to convert the file (with what to what?) and move it somewhere on the IPAQ (where?)
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I know this is a reply to my own post; but I just found a site:
www.pocketthemes.com that seems to answer all my theme questions and then some. IF anyone has pet methods to work with themes, please post.

I've begun playing with the Theme Generator that is a free download from Microsoft -- www.pocketpc.com, Powertools for PPC (although this is a desktop application). It's free and it lets you design your own themes or customize existing themes.

Thanks, I tried the Microsoft one, it's free and worth it (it did not work on W2000/SP3). The theme editor from BVRP is much better, for only $12.

I'm updating this thread just to let people know that Microsoft just released new Theme Generator v2.0 for Pocket PC 2002
http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/pocketpc/downloads/powertoys.asp
Regarding the MS ThemeGenerator not working, it was my experience that it would not work with certain video drivers. For whatever reason, the important buttons to press were missing so you could never create a theme. The cheap solution was to boot YOUR pc under SAFE mode and with SAFE mode's rudimentry video driver, you could see the program in all it's glory! Don't know if v2.0 has the same issue ... my God, I would hope they would have at least fixed that bug!
