Click the drop arrow and select "Only computer to Computer". 10) In the box at the top, you'll see the PC listed as an ad-hoc network. Select it and you should then be connected. Now, I have only used un-secured mode, so if you have sensative data or are the cautious type, you may want to enable WEP or use a specified IP. I have used ad-hoc for iPaq internet browsing off my laptop's dialup modem, for Active-syncing and for updating Journal bar data off the internet. Good luck. Mike lazerin 02-02-2004, 11:16 PM Thanks for that! Very nice instructions indeed :) olkush 02-03-2004, 11:47 AM When I try to set my PC (XP) to ad hoc only, I get an error message saying it can not apply all of the settings successfully to the wireless connectivity .dAt and that the authentication setting was not applied. Then, it reverts to access point only. Any suggestions? olkush mthomas9 02-03-2004, 08:00 PM You may want to verify you have the latest drivers. Other than that, I have no idea. PDA Street
