I have had trouble free use of my Bluetooth SDIO card for a couple of months, but now whenever I push the card in I get the following message:

'The handheld cannot recognize this card'

I have tried everything from uninstalling all Bluetooth files and reinstalling again, to, doing a hard reset and rebuilding my M505 from scratch. Again still no joy. Now getting desperate and thinking of buying the Fujitsu-Siemens Pocket Loox instead. Save me from these Bluetooth Blues!!!

Tim,
YOur problem sounds like a driver was corrupted but the fact that you have uninstall the Bluetooth Drivers and reinstalled them takes that option away.
Have you called Palm tech support on this?

THe problem of memory cards not being recognized is not new but yours is.
I'll get back with you.

I just read over your post again and you say that you have doen "everything", does that include doing a soft reset with the card in the Palm?

Tim,
I ask a Palm expert and he assures me that it is time to take to Palm about a new BlueTooth card.
I am assuming your Palm reads other SD cards without this problem. Correct? If the Palm is unable to read any SD card then the Palm is at fault.

Sorry that there was no quick and painless cure.

Thanks for your posts, I have other normal SD cards and do not have any problems, however I have not tried a soft reset with the card in, although I have been forced to reset when fatal exceptions appear on the screen again the problems still occur.

I think you are right, it is time to approach Palm about getting a replacement, however having already experienced their so called service I am loathe to battle with this again.

Thanks again

I did, but still no joy. I have spent most of the weekend reinstalling everything application I use thinking that there maybe a conflict somewhere, but even with nothing but the base software and the bluetooth stuff it still does not work. Thanks once again for your help all the same.

Regards

Tim

I find that kind of situation, where you work so hard but fail to resolve the issue, to be the worst kind of frustration.
