Hi folkes

I own a HP Pocketgear 2060 preloaded with win 2002.
A supporting CD has outlook 2002 and and syncronisation programs etc.

I have done the most stupid thing and removed all the crytical programs off my PDA. When removing a number of programs using add/remmove programs, I "checked" the ones I wanted removing instead of the one I wanted to keep.

My PDA wont switch off and is U/S. I have tried the reset and it gives me a blank screen.

I assume I will have to use some kind of Sim to reinstall windows.
If so where can I get one of these.

Can anyone help?

Regards

1. You are asking a question about an HP computer on an NEC forum.

2. I'm not fimiliar with the HP Pocketgear 2060 but if it's a Pocket PC, have you tried a hard reset? :)

Thanks for your reply

I have tried a hard reset.
It comes back with a blank screen.

The HP pocketgear was a factory reconditioned unit by NEC and I assumed they were a part of the same group.

John
There is a slot at the top of the unit for some kind of SIM.
I must assume it is used for something useful.
