charging problem

when I charge the battery on the HP battery charger the orange light first blinks as it should --- after a time the orange light stops blinking indicating that the battery is fully charged. However, when I put that bayyery in my Ipaq the Ipaq indicates that the battery is only partially charged about 58%
I anyone having the same problem?

Hi,
I get the same thing! Also, sometimes, the screen stays on during the charge and other times the unit switches itself off!
Are you using PPC 2003?

the charging problem is on the stand alone battery charger --

i have not noticed whether the pda stays on or shuts off when charging - i will watch next time

I once read somewhere that doing a soft reset resets the battery and makes the charging thing more accurate.
