Question for Curious Cat, Moose, and others that have an animated avatar.
How is that done? What software do you need to make an avatar animate?
Please desribe the technicalities for me/us.

Animated GIF, I presume. Try a google. Will probably give you plenty.

As Anders answered, you simply need to find one. Look for animated avatars. There are of course ways to create them or bring the resolution down to something usable in this forum but it’s much easier to find one. The hard part is conforming to the “no more than 50 x 50 pixels” regulation. I’ve included a “happy bunny” for you to start with. Just open the link, right click on it and save it somewhere on your computer. Now just switch to where your avatar file is located to this file. “Hop” you like it.

Thank you, quizzy feline. I shall research it further. Thank you Anders.

Speaking of animated avatars, I think if Anders' avatar had a bouncing basketball, it would be a nice touch.

Then, once you have your animated avatar, install MYIE2, or Firebird and stop that thing dead in it's tracks... :)

Maybe I should ask Caroline if she can get into that catsuit (hope the Curious one noticed) once again, and do some bouncing of a ball, so that it's not a fake, but a genuine animated avatar, then!

Ask and you shall receive :D
Later on, I'll make the arm move.
Bokkie, my preferred programs for creating animated images are Ulead GIF Animator and Adobe ImageReady.

Funbob, I think you like it so much, to play with these things, that I'll see if I have the original image left. That would be easier to play with, rather than animating this microscopic thing. :D

I eyeballed it. Could've come out better if I spent more time on it.
