My home desktop is my primary computer when synching to my IPAQ. At work I want the IPAQ to update my work desktop. Example, I had 12 Outlook tasks on my IPAQ that I set up at home over the weekend, and two calendar additions. When I synched at work this a.m. the work desktop became "primary" and wiped out the new tasks, etc. on the IPAQ. I can't find a way to set this up. I'm not happy and feeling like a newbie.

From what I learned at my job you cannot have two primaries. However, you can use other apps to load on the second PC (non-primary) which allows a sync to take place without making it the primary PC.

Using Active Sync, on your desktop or laptop, select: Tools>Options and tap the Rules tab. What you want to change is Conflict Resolution. On your primary computer you will have to decide whether you want to leave an item unresolved or to always keep the change from either the PC or the PPC. On your secondary computer select 'Always replace the item on this computer' from the drop down box next to Desktop. Keep in mind that if you make changes to the PPC and the PC files, that the PPC files will always replace the PC files on the secondary computer once you have selected this resolution.
I hope this helps,
Jim
