Hi ... i think my new ique from RMA is more sensible to interference due to metallic mass around... And I need to fold a little shield.... do you know wich material is more efficient for that ??

A shield between the Ique
and the gaz tank of my motorcycle...
Thansk a lot

I think you are wrong. The performance of the patch type of antenna, which is used in the iQue, is boosted by having a metallic surface under the antenna.
But then, higher sensitivity means it's more sensitive to everything. But you can't shield off the effect of the steel plate in the tank anyway. Whatever you do will just att to the amount of conductive material under the antenna. Unless you use something non-conductive, of course, but that has no effect at all, then.

Polisson,

Could you describe the problem you have more in detail?

Have you thought about getting the $20 Gilsson antenna for your 'Bike? Get the one with a 3 foot or a 6 foot cable. It comes with a great magnet - just stick it to a fender. Gilsson gets at least twice the signal as the internal antenna...

FWIW.:D
