OK - new problem.

I got my replacement T3. Unfortunately my work PC has had an upgrade and it took away all the desktop bits so I neeed to reinstal.

Not a problem you might think.

Except I've only got eh CD that came with my (now stolen) Tungsten T. The T3 one I just can't find anywhere.

Is there anywhere that I can either buy or otherwise obtain a replacement?

I find it shocking that palm are not prepared to support their own users in this sort of matter. It isn't unknown for CD's to fail. Even games manufacturers will supply replacements if asked.

I borrowed a friends TE software which seems to have done the trick.

Nevertheless it would be noce to know if replacements are available anywhere.

Quintain,

I have a Tungsten T and I'm looking for replacement software application CD too, please help me out :-)! I've just got a Tungsten T from as a floor model, no software. It kinda feels useless without the software applications. I'll PM you!

I just spoke with a palm representative, seems that they can't give out replacement software, nor can they tell me where to get one. The guy I talked to basically told me that if I don't have the software CD that I'm out of luck. I have to buy the software seperately, which gets costly quickly.

Scott,

I don't know much about the T2 - does it share it's enhanced address book with the t3 and TE or is it the same as the TT? If your addr4ess book has a 'birthday' item in it then it's the same as the T3.

If it does, I would be very grateful for a copy. The software suite on the TE CD is very different from that of my original T3 disk.

Castylx - I can certainly send you a burned copy of the TT disc set I have (there are two) but I believe that you can get things up and running initially with a download of the Palm desktop from palmone. Send me a private message with address details and I'll mail a couple of CD's to you.

Colin

Thanks Scott, but I managed to track down my original disk. It had fallen down behind my home PC. Good job my hard drive failed and I pulled it out from under the desk ...er...I think.:p
