Anyone have any idea when the new 67xx will be available in the US and what carrier will carry the units and service?

The 6720 won't work in the US - it is a UK/European/Asian model only (900/1800 MHz). I am pretty sure the T-Mobile and AT&T will announce the availability of the 6710 (900/1900 MHz) models in a few weeks. They both have 1900 MHz GSM/GPRS networks which will support the 6710 here in the US. Not sure about Nextel.

We have been speaking to our AT&T rep. They are announcing the 6710 soon. Our rep says it will be multi-band so that it may be used in Europe.

The 6710 will work on 900 MHz European / Asian networks where roaming agreements are in place. It will not work on 1800 MHz GSM networks. Some countries (Greece comes to mind) are 1800 MHz only.
