Psion PC Card uses a serial interface from PC card modems to psion RS 232 port
Is possibile to use the psion PC card adaptor for other PC cards (such GPS serial cards) other than a modem ?

As far as I am aware, the PC card adapter works ONLY with modems.

(Has anyone ever tried anything else in them?)

Thanks John.

Is there any tech info available for (PC card adaptor) on Psion web site or other news groups?

The correct name for the device is "PC Card Modem Adaptor" - it is not a generic PCMCIA adaptor but a device with the bare minimum of connectivity, circuitry and so on to enable PCMCIA modem cards to be used with (originally) a Psion 3c. Is there any tech info available for (PC card adaptor) on Psion web site or other news groups? There is not much of anything these days on Psion's website and the device is now so old and, having been largely superseded for ER3/5 use by the IR modem and mobile phones, rarely used. You might find something with a search, but I wouldn't be too optimistic :(
