Debating whether to purchase one on the orange network at the moment dave99 02-19-2004, 10:53 AM No it doesn't, but you really don't need it due to the excellent keyboard. SMS is a real strong point on the 600, as you can retain ongoing converstaions (over weeks if you want) using it's "chat" function. Loved it! jonnyauk 03-04-2004, 02:16 PM Yup, the chat thread function is very cool indeed. Now, I remember a few years ago having a predictive text application (I dont think it was based on t9 though), that as you typed suggested words on a little drop down menu - it was pretty good too. I have no idea what it was called though, I'll have a hunt around, it would be brilliant to have that function on my Treo! littlezebra 03-05-2004, 06:57 PM on my Treo 600 (through Sprint) it's unclear how people are meant to chat with me. So I don't know how to tell them to reach me. So far, only one friend has been able to send a message through using only my phone number, but others not. Anyone have any experience with the Sprint system or is there a way to override that and chat. What sort of chat do you have on the Silver (non Sprint) Treo? Tad dave99 03-09-2004, 05:51 AM ....does sound like a "Sprint" issue rather than a "chat" issue. In the UK anyone on a network (there are 3) can text to anyone on another, and I never had a single problem... I'd pick it up with Sprint if I were you..... I suppose you could have a falt with your Treo... PDA Street
