Hello, Can someone please remind me if the Osaris and the Revo are running the exact same OS? I dont quite remember if they are the same bit or not, thanks:)

No, definitely not the exact same Epoc OS version. The Osaris came with ER4, slotting in between the S5 with ER3 and the Revo/Mako/5mx with ER5.

If you need to know precise differences I will have to look them up.

Osaris - ER4
Mako - ER5

There is no major difference between the two. Each are compatible with the other for the purpose of communicating via infrared. All files created on one are completely functional and usable on the other. Many programs written to run on ER5 will work without a problem on ER4.

The only programs that I have found that will not run on the Osaris are RMRFile and RMRZip.

Hope this helps.

Thanks to the two of you for the info:)
I was wondering if the programs would work as well so that question was answered. My revo is getting old after only one year and it is because i have used it a lot. I am actually thinking of getting a sharp Zaurus but not certain.
