Has anyone noticed that on the map, the black current position triangle sometimes has what looks to be a flashing question mark in it? I've had this display about twice today. I can't find anything in the release notes about it. Does it mean anything to anyone?

I wonder what it is that constitutes a lost position then? After all, if the triangle knows it is on a map, then to the map and itself, its position is known even if it is not valid as far as we are concerned. In my case, the triangle was about 5km or so off from where I am, not enough I'd have thought for it to thinkit was 'lost'?
Anyway, I'm happy knowing what it means, but the why is of academic interest.

"Why" is simply because the black triangle shows the last known position, but in spite of the GPS being on, there is no valid fix right now. That's "why".
My Vista has a similar thing.

When I show a ? mark in the triangle if I power the iQue off and then back on the ? mark triangle then changes to a triangle with an accuracy circle after 2 seconds. Also if the triangle shows a ? mark the Hunt & Fish and the Sun & Moon values will be blank.

I haven't pointed it out, mostly because I don't consider it a bug. It should show the ? when it's not certain that the indicated position is your real position.
Actually, my Vista shows it all the time, as long as GPS is off, or don't have any fix.
Since the iQue is a more universal toy than the Vista, I can see that there is some sense in not showing the ? when you didn't unfold the antenna. It's rather obvious then, that you haven't turned the GPS on. But in a Vista, that's just another setting, so there is no apparent other way to tell that you aren't looking at the "real" position, just the legacy of your last navigation.

Do you know why it will change to an accuracy circle if you power off and then back on the iQue?
