Looks like my T is dead. I tried to open a newly downloaded app the oterh day and I got an error. I tried soft reset but it froze. Then I tried a hard reset and now the power won't turn on . I tried charging it, but that didn't work either. ANY ideas!!!

Similar problem with T2: Would -suddenly- not respond to either on button or opening slider; would not show green indicator (charging) when in cradle. Had to return unit to Palm under warranty.

If you go this route, make sure you advise Palm agent (847-262-7256 is support #) of any other issues with your handheld- I failed to advise that in addition to sudden power problem, I had a flaky digitizer- so, naturally, I got back my unit, repaired for power probelm, and had to return it subsequently when digitizer continued to deteriorate.

Good luck...

thanks charlie,
problem solved! I let the unit sit overnight with the slider open hoping to drain the battery - it worked. IN the morning, I placed the unit on the charger and lo and behold the green light went on and it was no longer frozen. i guess the unit was frozen with the screen off.
