Hi all

I'm moving from my old handspring neo and now I need to get to know some of tricks of the T1. Can anybody give a quikc top 10 apps or tricks to try ? I used mainly usuall personal organiser stuff like money managment, calender, avantgo and game, games, games

I want to explor some of the bluetooth connectivity, especially with my nokia. just waiting for that 6230 as well :)

God I miss hacks. ClearHack got rid of all the lines in MemoPad, and EVEN A TEALNOTE if attached to the address book memo/note section. Of course that's not an issue any more, because TEALNOTES DOESN'T WORK EITHER.

Either does a REAL winner -- entropy hack -- which changed the way the Palm read your security code/password EACH TIME you entered it, or ClipHack which gave you 8 or 16 multiple clipboards . . . . ClipPro has fixed that issue, thank God.

All in all I will do without the hacks (some were to make the 505 more "tungsteniish," which isn't necessary any more, obviously) for the increased screen brightness and speed and display size. It is unfortunate in the beginning but you'll be over it in about a week (at least I was.)

The days of a nice 2-8k hack doing the job of the "modern day" 278k application are over, I'm afraid -- that's why they "give you" 52MB -- you'll need it to stay in the same place with the bloated application sizes. 90k in hacks used to launch things from Vandenberg; that's a think of the past now but I think you'll love the Tungsten.

I used NoLinesHack in my Visor Deluxe and m125, but can't in my E. However... there's an app called Khroma that will let you change a heck of a lot of colors for various displayed stuff--and one option is to change the color of the dotted lines in apps like Memos and Calendar.

If you have Khroma, look in the Fld tab. Change the Text Lines color to match the Background color. The only time you'll see the dotted lines now is if you highlight something.

There's a Hack manager for OS 5 called YAHM. The only Hack I've tried is FontHackV, though, and it's rather bigger than Hacks for lesser OS's. I loved FontHack123 and its big assortment of add-on fonts. You can get somewhat the same effect with Fonts4OS5, but it isn't free and there are fewer fonts available.
