HELP!!! trying to download excel file from pc to nr70v

I need your help. I'm trying to download an .xls (excel) file from my pc to my nr70v. It won't let me download an .xls file. I think it's telling me to converted to some acceptable file format recognized by my pda. I don't know how to do this. Can you help me solve this problem? I really need to download that file to my pda. HELP!!!!!:confused:

Try Documents to Go from Dataviz. It should be on the cd which is supplied with the Clie.

It works fine.

I may be a bit late posting this, but I regularly use Docs-to-Go to keep my shift patterns (Excel files) in my Clie. Like the man said, it works!

thanks for all your answers. But I do have doc to go by datavits and it still doesn't let me download .xls files from my pc to my pda. Perhaps the reason is my Yishow. I have a Yishow running and it's not letting me do it. I also tried it without running the Yishow but it doesn't work either. Any ideas why?

What makes you think Yishow is getting involved when the problem seems to be converting the file on your PC? When you installed DataViz did it place a macro on the tool bar of Excel that allows you to convert Excel files for hotsyncing to the SONY?

If all else fails and you have Adobe Acrobat on the PC convert the excel file to Adobe for the Palm. Fee at the Adobe site.

If it doesn't work with YiShow running and doesn't work without YiShow running, YiShow is not the problem.

I got it to work. there was something wrong with my document to go, but once I reinstalled doc-to-go, it did it.
that was easy.
