Followed instructions to a t. I however backed up with backup buddy, as I have heard its slick (it is) Backed up all my files first, simple and easy. Then isync'd the updaters via the dummy user name on the computer. All went well. deleted dummy user, sync'd via backup buddy to restore all my files, and 'voila. Only thing that didnt come back was my NUDC files which is appropriate, since I dont have the NUDC installed on this computer. Do that on another (did full restore, worked well)
Anyway, all went well with no glitches. antenna is working fine, blackjack is working fine, text wist and avant go fine, etc etc. Appears Backup buddy sucks up and spits out all the good stuff for a full restore.(when the right conduits are in there)
My personal best like? The unit doesnt turn on now, when the voice recorder buttons are hit on the side. Unit needs to be turned on for those to work. GREAT improvement!
