Send files from m100 to phone via irda?

Hello, I just recently brought my first palm (and m100. hey, it was cheap...). Im still waiting for it to arrive (should turn up tomorrow or the day after).

What i am wanting to know though, if weather or not i will be able to send files (like ringtones, backgrounds etc) to my cellphone with it via irda. my cellphone is an Alcatel 735 (colour screen, camera, IrDA, blah blah blah).

I think it could be done, but i wouldnt be able to store much on the palm to send, and i think some sort of sortware might be needed.

Any ideas now weather it will work without special software?
