Dead Revo plus

My Revo Plus has died. The battery stopped taking a charge, so I did a backup to PC. Once the backup had been completed, the Revo locked up. I did a soft reset - this got the machine working but my contacts, documents etc are corrupt. Having done a backup, I did a hard reset. Now the Psion splash screen appears for a few seconds, then disappears and nothing happens on the machine at all.

Anybody got any ideas on what the problem might be and what I can do?

I can only suggest you perform another hard reset, making sure it is actually a hard reset - switch on with [Esc] twice and it beeps once - then give it a full charge of at least 6 hours uninterrupted. If it still cannot retain a charge it would seem the batteries really are kaput and will need to be replaced.

I have found a way to repalce the batteries and order replacements. I am still in the testing stage, but most likely I will be able to replace batteries at the end of november.
