syncing my clie n760 with my cell phone (Motorola v66)

I've just purchased a Motorola v66 cell phone. I'm trying to figure out how to sync the phone with my Palm desktop. I'm also using Mac OS 9.1.

I believe that I need to purchase Starfish's TrueSync software, but I wanted to find out if anyone has found a work-around.

Any help appreciated. tia.
