I have just got a used tungsten T a couple days ago.
It has been okay but it has froze when I was doing hotsync last night. Somehow hotsync failed so that I tryed to reset.
Since then the screen shows palm sign on and I can not turn off the power. I let it leave over night
but the situation is the same.
Please give me any advice to fix this problem.

More details please.
For example, what kind of reset did you do?

...a "Hard Reset?"
Hold down the power button and hit the reset pin in the back, then release the power button and press "Up" on the D-Pad when prompted to erase all data on the handheld.
That should return your T|T to it's original specifications.
Maybe you have a software conflict. Try renaming yur "Backups" folder to "Backold" and trying a HotSync. If you can HotSync properly, then try installing your programs one ata a time to isolate the offending app.
See this (http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35831) thread. It may offer some insight to your issue.
Also, if you just bought the T|T, you are entitled to 90 of free tech support from palmOne. I'd give them a call and explain everything to them and MAKE them help you until the issue is resolved. I find that they are either lazy or terribly malinformed and just want to get you off the phone. If the first tech. can't help you, ask for another one until you get the satisfaction you deserve.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Palming!

Thanks for the advice. I can not hotsync but I will try hard reset the way you mention. Thanks again and I will play with it.
