Weird Sync Problem

When I sync my palmdesktop to my m515 I notice some of the address names will not copy over. This is so weird! I have 25 names in my palmdesktop but after performing a hotsync I will only see 22 names on my PDA. Why would it do that??? :confused:

I have just experienced the same kind of problem, though I didn't make it clear enough to elicit a helpful response. On my desktop, I use Outlook, and my Palm was set to syncronize with that Outlook rather than the Palm Desktop Outlook. All of a sudden, my memos (notes on Outlook) started to syncronize with the Palm Desktop Outlook instead. And I can't figure out how to get it back to the Outlook I use for my work. But you may be having a similar problem, so you might want to check all your synchonizing instructions.

You'll want to check your HotSync "Conduit" options. They include Handheld Overwrites PC, PC Overwrites Handheld, Synchronize Files. I use Synchronize for almost everything. You may get duplicates if you have changed both the Palm file and the PC version, but that is MUCH better than not getting everything.

Right click on your HotSync tray icon, choose Custom, and go from there.

There may be something corrupt in the AddressBook database use dbScan to fix:
