Frequency of repair of Treo 600 vs older Treo 300

I've had a Treo 300 with Sprint since 5/2003. I am about to receive my 4th no-cost replacement; various unfixable things have gone wrong. 1st flipdown top broke off; 2nd phone broke; 3rd can't effectively hotsync to computer and download applications.

I'm wanting a Treo 600 for its bigger memory (32MB expandable vs 16MB nonexpandable), but am concerned about frequency of repair on the Treo 600.

Help!
