Hi All,
I tried 2 backup programs over the weekend cuz i had to hard thump my unit twice.
I tried the Botzman backup and the BackupMan 1.45.
Between the two I have to go w/ the backupman v1.45 . Here is my breakdown as to why and a comparison
Botzman BackupMan
Compression: Yes No
Invid backup: YES No
Automated Backup: Yes Yes
Encryption: YES NO
Price: 14.95 $10
Now i know it may seem to you that the botzman looks like the clear winner. But this is where it fails me... I restored via both but Botzman failed to restore my "Favorites" on the NAVI menu. So I didnt have any of my website links, phone #s, pics linked to people. I was pretty disappointed with that. I hope the author does fix that in the near future. BackupMan did restore everything including my favorites which was essential. I say this because who wants to sit there for about an hour and re-add people, their favorite image for caller-ID and their musical tone.
If anyone out there has a better recommendation for a backup program I'm certainly open to it.
