Just downloaded the update. Extracted to a formated fat32 CF card. Reset the unit while holding ctrl-d-esc, and instead of loading the new OS (as the .pdf describes), I was presented with the bootloader/test screen (described in another thread in this forum).

Tried a few of the options to no avail...except to hard reset the unit!

Thanks for raising this. The memory cards need to be formatted to FAT16 for the software installation to succeed. The release notes should have included this.
