Hello,

I wondered what software users recommend for synching my Palm contacts with the information in my Windows address book. Do the fields need to be manually matched to make sure the data synchs to the right field?

Any advice on a reliable tool?

palm has a conduit SDK so, in theory, you could build a conduit for your AB, but, as I've said before, Outlook Express or even Eudora Internet Suite is a much more hassle-free way of keeping your contacts up to date.

I have many contacts in Outlook2003 and Outlook Express 6.0 on my desktop. Not a single one of them has made it to my Palm T3. Any ideas how to get the Outlook or Outlook Express contacts into my T3? I've also moved all the contacts into my Palm Desktop program that came with the T3.

Thanks,
John

Try dpSync. http://www.tateyama.hu/products/palm/dpsyncwab/index.en.php

dpSync has been HotSyncing my Outlook Express address book, under both Windows 2000 and XP, for nearly a year.

Tateyama Labs, the vendor, appears to be a Japanese guy living in Hungary (?).

dpSync works perfectly. It is a bit slow, and appears to (but doesn't actually) freeze up HotSync for up to 20 seconds. It's quite reliable: no hangs or crashes in dozens or hundreds of HotSyncs.

I remember needing some minor support during installation. They provided about a 2-day response via email, in good English, which solved the problem.

I have no affiliation with that company or anyone there. I just like their product.
