OK, this is what I want to do:-

1. Receive on my Palm an e-mail having a Word attachment;

2. Open the attachment and edit it on the Palm; and

3. E-mail the edited attachment back to the sender in a format in which they can open the attachment in Word.

I have Documents to Go and Wordsmith installed.

When I try to send an e-mail with a Wordsmith Doc attachment it gets sent as a .pdb file which cannot be opened on the recipients computer unless they have Wordsmith installed. If I send a .txt file it has to be opened with Notepad and line breaks are lost.

I'm sure there's a simple solution -- can anyone help?

What you are asking is a function of the email application. Which email app do you use? I am using Blazer and it does a good job with word, txt, and PDF files. I am also doing beta testing on SnapperMail. Check out the demo.

Thanks very much for your help. I'm using MultiMail III Pro. I'll check out snapper mail as you suggest.
