Does anyone have any info on Toshiba's new e330 and e335 pocket pc? Is it more like the e310 or the e740? I know it has the new xscale chip but what is the Mhz of the chip? Why dose is it cost less on the Toshiba site than e310 dose? Thank you.

I returned an e310 and purchased an e335. I got the e335 two or three days ago from jandr.com. I cannot tell by holding the e335 whether it is larger and heavier than the e310--both are small--but specs say it is a little heavier. I purchased it because compared with the e310 it has double the memory, a faster processor speed (but the e310 seemed very fast and I cannot really tell from using the e335 that it is faster than the e310), supports USB host, and included the Photobase application (what distinguishes the e335 from the e330 is the inclusion of the Photobase application in the e335). But the e335's street price is also at least $50 more than the e310.

I'm using Intellisync software to sync with Groupwise at my office. It works well. Toshiba also changed the stylus holder so the stylus cannot accidently slip out. You have to turn the stylus 90 degrees to free it from the holder. Clever. Also, the package included 3 extra styli and a one of those clear protectors to protect the screen from scratches. The cradle for the e335 is the same as for the e310 (the e740 uses the same one).

I've had one problem. I cannot get the Pocketop keyboard software that I had running successfully on the e310 to work on the e335 (I left a message earlier today with Pocketop support asking if the software was compatible with the e335 ). The Pocketop software installs with no error messages, but the application icon does not appear in the Programs window and therefore cannot be configured (the application DOES show up in the Input popup menu but won't activate).
