Belkin Palm Keyboard Issue

Hi all,

I just received as a present a Belkin F8P3501 keyboard. I am using a Palm m130. Should work with it right? So far I haven't had any luck making it work with my palm. I d/l the latest drivers for it, still no luck. I spoke to 2 techs at Belkin, one said it should work, but the other said it doesn't work.

Anyone out there have the 2 and made it work? If so, I would appreciate any info you can provide. Thanks.

Belkin's listing for the KeyBoard does not include the Palm 130.

I did see that, but the first tech said to me it was likely because the keyboard came out before the m130 did and the website was not updated.... I thought the m505 and the m130 were pretty much the same though? And the m505 is listed as a supported unit... mmmm?

Something to think about:

Palm just dropped the price on their keyboards $30! I have had one for a couple of months and it works flawlessly. Maybe you could take back the Belkin and get the Palm.

hey,

i've had this problem in the past, and now again in the present. you have two devices, the performance specs are the same and they both run the same operating systems. yet, the hardware is just different enough that, while the addon software works maybe, the harware addon works maybe. put the right software and hardware together and you get success, otherwise failure.

absolutely frusrating at times.
