My wife and I are new to the PDA world and would appreciate a little help. My wife is a Japanese/English translator considering using a PDA, specifically the IPAQ 3950 or 3970 as an electronic dictionary J-E etc. A few questions if anyone can help:

1: Can the Pacific version 3900's be used in Canada? Any issues with Cell phone compatibility for Internet access? Other issues? We will purchase in Japan at a great price but only if it will work here - obviously.

2: Is it possible to have both the English and Japanese versions of the OS (Pocket PC 2002) on the same IPAQ or some way of changing language within the OS? I would like to use the PDA as well however she would like the menus/input in Japanese?

3: Any issue with having the OS in Japanese and synchonizing through the USB cradle to a PC running English XP?

4: What is the advantage of the 3970, specifically Bluetooth, over the 3950? Any other advantages?

4: Any recomendations/features she 'must' have for using the IPAQ as an electronic dictionary?

5: We've heard there is a new IPAQ coming out shortly. Any info on it's features? Any significant improvements?

Thanks
