I have two questions about the NR70V.
1) how can I get the photos I've taken from my Clie onto my PC? Do I need a memory stick for this? If so then do I need to buy a memory stick reader - can it not be done through the hotsync cradle
2) is it possible to browse the web on the NR70V? I have a bluetooth mobile phone, but don't know what I need to get for the Clie - hardware and software.

Yes it can be done thru the hotsync cradle.
The app called MemoryStick Import, or Data Import is something you need to install on your PC (it came on the installation CD).
Then, you can use your Clie's MS like an external drive for PC (It is Drive F:\ on my PC).

Thanks. That's helpful. In addition since I wrote I've discovered that images on the Clie are automatically transferred to the \backup\ folder under my Clie folder and I can access them in PG Lite.
But now that I know what to do I'll get a memory stick as you suggest and use the camera a lot more.
Any suggestions on web browsing? Even if it's possible with Bluetooth is the screen too small to make it worthwhile?

Personally, if I were in your shoes, I'd simply upgrade to a wireless unit, instead of trying to add accesories to make this one wireless.
Web browsing is good, if you are a traveller, and would like to check sports scores/ email / etc. anywhere, using a Bluetooth phone or a Wifi access point. Compared to desktop browsing, I would never use a PDA for browsing; it doesn't even come close.

Thanks. I wondered if it might be more trouble than it's worth.
The things I've most commonly wanted to do were to check email on a webmail site (i.e. without downloading it) and to bid on eBay. These might be feasible on a PDA.

The things you want to do should be fasible on a PDA.
But I would consider upgrading if you want to do those things:)
