while the mobilon was upgradable sharp decided not to make the upgrade. heres an old post about it from someone at sharp:

hi,
thanx, i already read the msg's, sharp did have a limited run
of the upgrade, i was looking for the one who would like to sell
theirs, also the website has been update to help sharp mobilon
line of pda for current uses check out the site under knowledge
base on www.sharp-usa.com, hope this helps,
