I mentioned this once in the tail end of another thread but it may have gone unnoticed. I’m not sure if this is a Release 3 issue or not. Seems to me that if I manually set a location and then open the antenna that the iQue goes back to the last known actual location instead of the one that I just set. This is not normally a problem except that the instructions state that you can speed up satellite acquisition when moving large distances, such as a plane flight, by setting the location manually. This is also true if you receive a new unit. The work around would be to open the antenna first but that’s not what the instructions say and not what somebody who just received one is likely to assume. Is this a behavior they changed in Release 3 to get a quicker location set when opening the antenna?

I have encountered the same situation after setting a manual location after the R3 upgrade. Opening the antenna will cause the iQUE to revert back to the last known location. This is perhaps by design but this did not occur under R2.
