DrMud 03-18-2004, 10:38 PM By share the same Palm are you suggesting they are to all use one "palm Handheld?" Or all of their Palms are to sync to one HotSYnc User ID? Doc crippledcanoe 03-19-2004, 07:47 PM I have written a program that collects data from smart card devices ( long story) and when you sync it puts the data in text files that a report program can use to generate reports. That part works since it puts the data in D & S\All Users... but the Palm software won't work unless the original installer is logged in. Hence my problem. DrMud 03-20-2004, 09:22 AM I think you will have great difficulty "Sharing" by syncing. I am sure you know that at the begining of the sync cycle the HotSync Manager software looks for the HotSync ID and the time date stamp left at the end of the last sync. If the time date data stored on the PC Is not the same as that on the Palm the HOtSync Manager will be upset. It may require that your txt files be distributed to the HotSync IDs of the other Palms prior to syncing under each ID. You need someone that understands the HotSyncManager better than I do. Try and email to Danny at toysoft.ca. Doc crippledcanoe 03-20-2004, 11:37 AM I will ask him. PDA Street
