Hi guys,
Just got a spanking new Nokia 8910 (the titanium phone). Love it almost as much as my t3.
Cant however, get to connect both of them using Bluetooth.
For that matter, my T3 wont connect to ANYTHING using bluetooth. All the other devices keep asking for the passkey to my T3. I DONT HAVE ONE!!!!
Is there some default passkey????
A friend of mine bought a P800, and it wont connect to my T3 on bluetooth. Some advice needed here, people!!!!

Hi Karan701
When you want to communicate between two devices using bluetooth you have to identify each device to the other. The passkey is a number which you choose (eg I used a 4 digit number) that you can enter to the request for the passkey on your phone and pda. As long as you enter the same number on both devices you should then have a trust between them.

Hi Simon,
Here's the deal. I'm assuming that the passkey on my nokia 8910 is the default security code (12345). So, here's what I'm doing:
1. Turn on bluetooth on both devices
2. Find the Nokia 8910 using the T3.
3. Add the Nokia 8910 to the trusted devices list of the T3.
4. When i do this, the T3 asks me for the passkey of the Nokia 8910. I enter 12345.
5. Simultaneously, the 8910 asks me for the bluetooth passkey of the T3. I DONT KNOW WHAT THIS IS.
I try entering 12345, which is rejected, and the connection fails on both devices.
So basically, i cant setup a BT link between the two devices, and consequently, my blood pressure is going through the roof.
HOW DO I FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PASSKEY IS ON MY T3?

HOW DO I FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PASSKEY IS ON MY T3?
1> Turn on the bluettoth on both devices
2> Find the Nokia 8910 using the T3
3> Add the Nokia 8910 to the trusted devices list on the T3
4> It will ask for a passcode, enter in 0001 (four didgits only)
5> Enter the same passcode into the Nokia when it asks for it.
This should now pair the two devices. If you pair the phone or the T3 with a different device such as a bluetooth headset, use the next available passcode (0002) if the head set does not specify one.
