Help...Troubleshooting Problem

I've got a Palm Vx that is about 18 months old. Totally love it.
Went to use it yesterday and screen was frozen at: PALM COMPUTING PLATFORM logo screen. Neither Soft or Hard reboot works. Wont shut off either.

Have it in cradle so battery doesn't drain. Light is on so it's recharging.

Any ideas/guidance very much appreciated.
Hope it's not a gonner. No dough ($) to repair.

same happen to me, on the back there is a reset button, press it with a paperclip and flip it over, u will be asked if u want to erase?

be careful!!! i pressed erase once on accident but luckly i had all backed up. this should help you, LET EM KNOW

Thanks, but as I said in my message, I tried the soft reboot (Pressing the reset button) and the hard reboot (holding the power button off while pressing the reset button). Neither worked.

Any other ideas?

Munzo,
Move the contrast button around. If moving does nothing, it can be remove with a finger nail or other small tool. Pry it out then put it back.

If the contrast or other buttoms (try them all) is not the problem them let me know if you use JackFlash or FlashPro.
If so, these apps require special RESET proceedures.
Email me if you need them.

Is the Contrast button the same one as the green POWER button?

Found the Contrast Button! What a knuckle head I am!
It was on top left side of device, right? Never used/spotted before.
