How do I do this? Turn on the GPS, let it acquire, and then run the Map program in the Garmin category. I do it all the time. Even though I know exactly where I'm going it's kind of fun just to watch it unfold on the map. Today, I'm going to do something unique and use the GPS position on the map, rather than the lock-on road, just to see what it really looks like. I then put the ique in the bean bag mount - it charges the ique along the way. When I get home or to work the ique is ready to go! rick417 03-27-2004, 10:09 AM Sometimes I'll change my routing preference to Off Road, plug in my destination, and use the route line as a general direction to my destination and navigate myself through the back streets. An interesting way to do some sight seeing. Bokkie 03-27-2004, 12:22 PM Originally posted by reinbeau Now that is just.......wierd! :D I prefer to go out and watch the flowers grow! Watching wet paint dry is possibly more stimulating than watching satellite bars!:) Curious Cat 03-27-2004, 12:34 PM Originally posted by JMckie sometimes when I am bored I put the GPS app on and watch the satellite bars go up and down When I'm bored I use a remote control to turn on and off my neighbor's interior lights. See it worked. :D I'm off (course you knew that) to Sacramento to meet with some Lobbyists. They may get to see my teeth up close. :) Bokkie 03-27-2004, 03:17 PM Originally posted by Moose Man Nope, just trying to educate the masses about Moose.
