Just though I'd share this story...

My wife and a girlfriend from work went to see Bob Dylan in Philadelphia last evening (she knew better than to ask me... even after 30 years of listening, I STILL can't tell what he's singing . :) )

The concert was to start at 8pm, and I received a call from her at 8:30 saying that they are lost and have no idea where they are. I ask for intersection street signs, look it up on the Que, and discover that they are in the part of town that people who live in the bad part of town are afraid to go to!

I found their destination on the map, and was able to guide them (with voice prompts Betty would have been proud of), to their destination. Despite their questionable surroundings, they were comforted by my being able to let them know what streets were coming up next, and how many blocks till the next turn.

They arrived at their destination safe and sound, and I heard my wife utter those words that every man longs to hear:

"I'm so glad you have that GPS!"

That's great - you know she is going to want one very soon. Is her birthday or anniversary soon?

:)

No, but when the iQue2 comes out, I can see a little "hand me down" action going on.

Now... how do I explain to her what an "RMA" is? :p

No, she will not want one. But she'll be upset the next time she gets lost and you don't answer the phone to give guidance. Obs, she was glad that he has a gps.

Jonas, that finally answers the burning question: You are either married or have been because with an answer like that - you understand how wives think? :D
