Asterisk is app title

I'm using ZLauncher v4.01 and after I synch, sometimes an asterisk appears after the application name my T|T. Typically this appears when the items is a shortcut from my SD Card. I know its minutia, but it wasn't there before I upgraded my ZLauncher. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

If I understand your post correctly, the asterisk appears next to an application that is SD Card based or a shortcut to the SD Card app? I would think this is normal. TealAlias, which allows launching from SD Card with handheld shortcut/button/graff stroke, ALSO PUTS an asterisk next to the name.

It is simply an identifier to let you know it's on the card. Hope I understood correctly - if I'm right, your launcher may just have the "same idea" as an indicator for you.

I believe you can change this under the tab properties, icon view, then turn off any of the "tags" that you don't want.
