Palm Dictionary/Thesarus

Recently, I purchased the Palmpak Dictionary/Thesarus Card for my Handera 330 and can't get it to work. No software or instructions came with the purchase so all I can do is plug it into slot. How do it access this program?

I'm under the impression that some(?) of the pre burned SD cards require OS 4.x, so I believe you're out of luck.

It looks like Handera does not want to provide 4.x for the 330 even though everybody I know thought that Handera had promised this upgrade (me included). I guess some editor somewhere added this hype.

If you don't get a post that tells you how to make it work, then I suggest returning the product for a refund.

Yes, for the pre-loaded cards you need OS 4. I asked Handera back in Feb (2002) when they planned to release OS 4. Handera said anytime soon, but gave no specific date. I recently asked agian, but never received a reply. So I guess there's still no planned release date.

(btw the best dictionary I found (which is still far from ideal) is Noah Pro, www.arslexis.com. It works fine with the database on a CF card (but not on an SD card). The main advartage is that the database contains UK-English as well as American-English spellings which most others don't (this, of course may not be an advantage to you)).
