Any one out there in Palm Vx land every tried to put together a reader writer for compact flash cards for Palm Vx. Is it even possible. Does any one have any ideas on how you would start, using Hot sync and cradle with a USB card in PC ? I only pose this as an alternative to buying a newer Palm and the hassle it could be? Any thoughts would be appreciated and I will post any info I gather

This is not the actual idea you pose but NorthStar has been making a module that attaches to the serial sync connector of the PAlm V/Vx. Below is an article. Some folks have been able to use these modules much like a memory card on the 500 series.
Out local Staples had them for a while. Not sure if they still do.
