I have seen many posts regarding other solutions to shelling out the $350 for City Select CD's. I haven't found a solution that I'm crazy about. I tried out the new beta version of Mapopolis Navigator and it has some nice improvements, but it does not yet support GPS for the iQue. I e-mailed Mapopolis about it and this is their response:

We don't support it now because there has been only lukewarm interest. If we see enough demand, it will be considered for the development schedule."
If you are interested in a cheaper alternative to City Select software, Mapopolis offers Western Europe maps for $125 and North America for $100. Please e-mail Mapopolis at support@mapopolis.com and let them know you are interested in Mapopolis Navigator for the iQue.
