Can SAMSUNG CPUs overclock??

Hey does anyone know of any overclocking software for the Samsung CPUs? I am looking to overclock the 203 MHz Samsung CPU on my iPAQ h1930 PDA...

At this time, there is no overclock utility that works on ipaq 1930 and 1940.

One thing to keep in mind is Samsung cpu is a faster cpu than Intel XScale, perhaps they are more conservative in rating their cpu. 203 mhz samsung cpu can benchmark as high or in some case higher than 400 mhz xscale;

This all sounds very cool. I noticed that the Samsung CPUs out-benched the XScale CPUs in a lot of the tests...but I saw benchmark results that showed the Xscale CPUs out-benching the Samsung CPUs in 3D benchmark tests....is this TRUE?

I am having a hard time finding benchmark tests showing how fast the (iPAQ H1930) 203 MHz Samsung CPU is versus the XScale CPUs... can anyone provide me a link? I found results of the H1945 (which is 266 MHz), but not the H1930 (which is 203 MHz)...

A suggestion, you have the 1930, you can run the benchmark yourself on it using this:

I remeber this being asked a while ago but cant find the answer tho but isnt the Samsung chips based on the Xscale chips? What the real difference between the Intel chips and samsung. Do the Ipaqs come with that ATI or Nvidia portability chip desgined for PDA's and Cellphones?

LOL yea right... well...it looks like the bottom one is version 1, then up = version 1.1, 1.2, & 1.3... I clicked on 1.3 but it looked like some sort of linux compressed archive. So I downloaded version 1.2. I'll post later w/results...

i'v tied it but any version didnt seem to work for my 1940. all of them would install and start up but once you fix the setting to a higher clockspeed the system would hangup.

ti's not stable on the 1940. I tried playing pocketnes and the program stops working or the graphics becomes blurry. maybe it's only ofr the 1930.

The latest version of Pocket Hack Master 2005 provides overclock for Samsung S3C2410 cpu.
