A sync problem caused the loss of my contacts file (address book) on both my 7135 and mac. My datebook (ical) continues to be fine. Here's kind of the chronology of my problem...
- sync 7135 to powerbook and with isync to ical and address book - successful
- attempt to sync powerbook to imac using file syncronization program. imac empty address book file overwrites powerbook
- attempt to sync 7135 to powerbook to restore contacts. powerbook overwrites 7135. all contact info is now gone:(
I have a backup of all my files from a windows laptop that I hotsynced to up till last week. so I...
- copied user data to powerbook and hotsynced. no contacts
- copied palm file to a windows computer, hard reset 7135 and hotsynced to restore all info. contacts did not change???
Boy am I frustrated!!! (understatement)
Any ideas?
