I don't know if anyone's mentioned this pack (http://www.pdalive.com/showarticle.php?threadid=5942) .

I have one of these, purchased for my old Palm Vx / Magellan GPS setup. I haven't used it for the iQue, other than to check that it would fit.

That said, they are very nicely constructed (for what is basically a _very_ secure ziplock bag). It is safe to say that it is 100% waterproof (the directions include a simple process to check) and will protect the unit.

I never had the need to actually try to use my old Palm while still in the pouch, but think it would be a bit difficult to input info, but would work fine once going. I used it to store my GPS in a pack while hiking and mountain biking, and for this it was great.

Have just purchased the aquapac bag, the special one, it is 36 Euro, bought here in Spain, they have a shop so on a few days I will have it. There are 3 types of waterproof bags for PDAs, a small one that fits the PDA, a bigger one for the flip antenna to be kept open and the special one for big PDAs.

I just had to chuckle when I read this from the link Ann posted.

"I guess, many of you like listening to the music, watching TV or even reading some interesting book while taking a bath. Why not to do that on your beloved PDA? "

For the penny pinchers like me, how is it different from a freezer zip loc bag? And one more thing - does the stylus float?? :)

Indeed, I had the plastic bag on my case if it is a rainy day for my hiking, but no way compared to the hermeticaly, transparent, and well done Aquapac bag with a cord to carry on your chest to check the maps and other information.

I like my zip lock baggies. I always take a couple extra along on a hike for my electronic gear.

I always have zip baggies for the parks. Living not to far drom Disney affords a chance for my IQ to be splashed on some of the water rides.

Maybe if I get deployed, I'll pick up one of the safe-it bags. But for now the zip lock is the way to go. Went down Splash Mountain enough times to test it.
