Hi treo180g,
I'm also new to this forum and have the same question. We would like to roll out Pocket PCs to our traveling users, but with an open system connected to the internet they are vulnerable. We have a VPN client that works well with our corporate firewalls but once connected a hacker has the door wide open. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Yes. There are threats like viruses and trojan horses. You can get antivirus software from several vendors. I have Symantec AntiVirus 2002 and McAfee Viruscan for PalmOS, though I only use the Symantec one.

As for firewall, check the antivirus vendors.

ermm i might be wrong... but a firewall probally wont work for a palm, why? because the CPU cant multitask, and a firewall would be considered multitasking :(
