I have a ringtone on my computer and the place where I downloaded it from said that it is a ringtone for the Treo 600, but the ringtone is in midi sequence format. How do I get that ring tone on my phone for my phone to recognise it a be able to use this ringtone? Any help will do. Thanks.

I think you have to email it to yourself to the Treo.

Itīs very simple:

Just send the .mid archive by the infrared port, the Treo detect the midi archive and install it in the ringtones database.

Thousands of midi archives in the web=thousands of free ringtones for your smartphone!!!

Midi files free in: www.bibliomidi.net

ENJOY!

I got mine to work. It took some playing around with for me to figure out. Make sure you have some mp3's downloaded onto your t600. Launch lightwave and goto the tab that says "treo" and select a mp3 for your ring tone. Goto what I think was "general preferences" f\from the pulldown menu at the top of lightwave, and click enable lightwave. Go back to palm applications and launch "preferences" application. On "sound" make everything "silent". This should enable your lightwave to play your mp3 as your ringtone. Worked for me.....

I am contemplating purchasing a Treo 600. My SIM card has a facility for two lines (i.e. two different telephone numbers). Does anyone know whether it is possible to set two different ringtones so as to identify which line is being used by an incoming call?
