Americas Standard Basemap 301 works ?

I downloaded and installed successfully. However, the Q does not recognize new basemap. Has anyone experienced same problem ? The OS is release 3.

not here, d/l 3.01 Standard and 3.01 (3.0 indicated) World and they both have loaded fine to the SD card. Have you tried the command to delete the basemap on the iQ (card) first then reload?

Deleting the previous basemap before installing a new one would make difference ? Garming's installation instruction does not seem to say this ...

No, you are correct, the instructions do not say this, but it is another way to try the install. Maybe it can help your situation. maybe not...

Is what you are saying that you should first delete the Americas Lite Basemap from Internal Memory before installing the Americas (or World) Standard Basemap on Storage Card? I would love that, since I would then get an additional 5MB of Internal Memory. That would be REALLY cool ...
